Not enough to cover expenses? Do you understand what you're saying? That they're running a deficit for 15 years. Companies must make profit, or they vanish. They clearly make a profit, otherwise they would no longer exist.

I got that with echo * which you suggested to use :) I opened that on my Android Phone and half expected it not to boot at all. But it does. I have no idea about the state of WASM n stuff, but apparently, it's much more eadvanced than

240 MB for a simple web server? You're doing something wrong. And by something, I mean everything.

Not really. Flying is fast, but when you measure door to door, in distances of under 1000k, a high speed rail network would not be slower.

Why should I choose to introduce software with potential security flaws, when I can simply use the built-in firewall?

Discord has a bug where using the HOME-SHIFT key does move the cursor without selecting the text, when creating a new forum-type post through their desktop and web client. In addition, the HOME and END keys also jump to the start/end o

The impact is minor. SSDs are super durable nowadays and Hibernating for years won't really make a difference. The SSDs will outlive the need for a bigger disk anyway. But technically I agree.

First of all, it does not "just happen" to be selectable. RAW contains information that is not available in a JPG or PNG , but which is crucial to a lot of serious photographers. Second, the native raw images do include a ton of a

I use Hibernation instead of Standby. I have an SSD so the difference boils down to maybe 10 seconds. Which is time I do have :)

Except that you can't get by if the other person is an authority figure and the imperfection is throwing you under the bus. Your statement makes no sense in the context you're answering to.

It looks like data is stored on US server, which defeats all and any real attempts on true data privacy. But since the company is a US company it doesn't really matter where the data is, the feds will always have enforceable access.

You can always just take the code and put it in your app. Having libraries like these don't force you to add them as a dependency. Assuming the right OSS license.

Or you know, use the Windows ADK and do it like a pro. Sigh... This is a completely useless tool...

Doing things for many years doesnt mean you are experienced. Half the stuff you recommend would land straight in the bin of any person who truly has some idea of security, not speaking of true professionals.

Agreed with the "what does this achieve". In Corporate environments you would use SCCM or simply the Windows ADK plus WDS. Installing a custom Firewall and Antivirus ist straight counteproductive, as ist disabling security feature

It's not surprising, but it never fails to amaze me that people hear about projects the first time, that have been around for decades. (This is not an attack). The first time I hear about MAME was maybe in 2004 or so. At that point the

It can't do shit, especially in some EU countries, where it can do even less shit. Setting timers reminders, calendar events. Nothing. If they kill the assistant, I'll go Apple, no matter how much I hate it.
