So then twitter dies and something better takes it's place. I really don't see a way out of this. I mean if random people being mean is the issue what can they do? Other than start monitoring and censoring everything tweeted

What's the big deal? If you don't like how a platform works just leave it, I haven't used either Facebook or Twitter ever (I do have accounts, but I think you can count my posts and tweets combined with fingers of one hand) a

Imo you always need to test error cases with web sites and apis specially. It's just stupid that some API returns "200: OK", {"result": {"error": "result not found"}}. But I guess this is mainly

Maybe I'm in an odd position, but is email really such a big communication tool? I mean sure in business world, but for that companies have their own email servers anyway. I only receive email from 2FA-things and order confirmations&#x

Is there anyway to search bitbucket? Can I link my profile to someone so they can see all my projects? I'm only dimly aware of bitbucket, but if these criteria are easily met then I might even consider changing over.

So why not just make a Twitter clone? As in a website that had same functionality? This extra CLI abstraction will just make it harder to adopt, which again might be by design, but at that point a question comes to mind: why not just start

Yeah. What is the benefit of using twtxt? Ok, it's decentralized, but what actual benefit does that bring? Just anybody can't see what you are saying? But is the communication encrypted somehow? Don't get me wrong, this is a

That's the thing isn't it. Obviously you can serve extra "note: 'service is about to shutdown'" in your JSON, but since it's an API a lot of people aren't going to be seeing it. I guess best option wo

It's not that "rare" if my buddy was able to replicate it just by opening irccloud in a browser on another computer. So is it rare that it happens, but when it happens it happens to everyone in one network?

Only thing I can think of is that they track your IP and won't send the history if you have two instances from the same IP address. But I don't quite get why they would do that. But we'll see, I'm willing to give it the
