I don't understand what the problem is with discussing ISIS with Russia either. Aren't they supposed to be an ally when it comes to dealing with ISIS? Do we really think Russia will do something nefarious with this little titbit o

Are we still at war with Russia or something? I don't understand why Russia is being demonised in the media so much the last 6 months.

My credit card does all of that and they actually reward me for using them, so given the choice when paying for something I will choose a credit card 100% of the time.

My interpretation: 'The narrative' over the last 6 months was that the new Macbook Pro is no longer a 'pro' level device and as a result 'pro' users everywhere are switching to other brands which means bad sale

I'd like to do a pepsi challenge with a freshly squeezed juicero juice vs one that was pre-squeezed before packaging (i.e. the juicing machine is pointless)

Exercise, Netflix, alcohol, drugs. In that order. Usually I'm asleep around the Netflix / alcohol stages.

> Block size doubling and cutting transaction sizes in half each double the throughput. You can only cut transaction sizes in half once, but you can always double the block size again. Let's just double the block size?

There's no escaping the fact that this is a dangerous operation. The guys bolting the segments together can easily sustain a solid knock to the head, or get a finger squashed, etc. The helicopter pilot has a lot of responsibility hangi

Bitcoin Unlimited IS a fork, why would they try to prevent a fork? I don't understand what you're saying.

Why would it not be agreed to follow the majority of the miners? That's literally the whole basis of the blockchain. The chain with the most work wins. If you don't like it then you can make your own fork, nobody is going to care

Segwit is still compatible with increasing the block size a la Bitcoin Unlimited. They are not being forced to give up segwit here. It's really two separate conversations. Supporting segwit doesn't mean automatically opposing BU.

This is not an attack, this is just the miners working out a way to increase transaction throughput on the block chain. Maybe they will go with the Bitcoin Unlimited plan or maybe they will end up going in a different direction. We'll

We don't need to know anything about your web application to know that you need a RDBMS. If you happen to have an exception to this rule, you are a VERY VERY rare case indeed.
