I hate spending money on software. I pirated Adobe Creative Suite for years. I really, really did not want to pay the $55/month for a Creative Cloud subscription, but I had to. There are no great alternatives to Photoshop + Premiere +

> return-to-work A subtle way to insinuate that working from home is somehow not working. That the only way to work is in an office.

I think you have a typo in your documentation here: https://nuejs.org/docs/nuejs/#html > <p :if="desc">{ desc }</h3> should be <p :if="desc">{ desc }</p>

Thank god Valve exists for their work getting Steam games to work on Linux. A lot of the captive Windows audience is gamers. With another option, people don't have to put up with Microsoft's OS terrorism.

I am able to do this. I can also write upside down and backwards. The interesting thing is, I am left handed, as was da Vinci. I wonder if the man who can speak backwards is left handed. I also find it easier to read right-to-left. I wonder

This is a straw man. I was not equating changing the logo to Elon making things better at Twitter. My argument for changing the logo is "why not" with my observation that Elon has made Twitter better since he bought it - therefore

Why not? I've found I've been using Twitter more ever since Elon bought it. He's made some good improvements. It's popular to hate Elon but I think he's trying to make Twitter better than he found it.

People don't even seem to understand that AI is inside of a computer. It's not real. The whole argument with AI safety seems to be about how AI can say some "harmful misinformation". Ok. I can say harmful misinformation

If only it wasn't built with PHP. We need a batteries included, non-headless, open source CMS for Node.js. Headless is pointless for the vast majority of use cases, so I don't really understand why Node.js developers keep making t

I would prefer to pay like this, especially since I'm not writing a ton of blog posts. To me it's better to pay $10 for a viral post than pay $10/month continuously with little traffic. It depends on your use case though. Low

I hate the Threads user experience. You're force fed content from brands, divisive political figures, meme pages, and influencers, and given no way to discover accounts you actually want to follow. At least on Twitter it's easier

I pay $0 a year to host my Next.js website on S3. I use MDX to write posts. I have CI/CD set up to auto publish when I push a new post. It's a simple set up (for a developer). I don't get why one would want to or need to pay

Somewhat unrelated, but blueskyweb.xyz is the ugliest domain name I've ever seen for a legitimate tech company. Feels like a spam domain.

If you don't own the .com, you don't own the name, IMO. There are a ton of good .com brand names put there that are available, you just have to look. A unique name also makes your brand more recognizable, compared to ultra minimal

I miss PhpBB. So much more well organized than Reddit or Discord or Instagram or Twitter. It feels like we've lost user experience sensibilities from the mid 2000s and now rely on algorithms and feeds to give us things we may or may no
