It's somewhat amusing that this is understood though the glasses of warfare. We've always been subject to collective manipulation and those skilled in the art need no digital twin or to measure effects but it does make it easier a

I always think of the lumberjack tasked with cutting down the last redwood giant. He hesitated a bit and was somewhat reluctant to start. Several of his coworkers understood that it was slightly emotional and said they would do it if he cou

Tax I could do to some extend but I once (for laughs) had a go at scripting up Dutch work hour laws because no one could do it in their head. This was so terrifyingly complex that I'm convinced many laws should be rewritten to make it

We use rigid 16 mm pvc conduit (bend with heat) with 2.5mm2 wires in brown(+) blue(-) yellow/green stripe(gnd) and 1.5mm2 black for switched wires. Ideally you bend the pipe as little as possible and make the corners as smooth or as bl

In the Netherlands anyone may do the wiring of their house themselves but if it is a substantial modification (or an entire installation) a certified electrician has to sign off on it. They are not likely to stick their neck out for any fun

The way I thought of it at the time was that they had 2 kinds of content, official stuff like news, to make the service actually useful, for which they didn't get a cent and commercial stuff which started at that unfunny amount. They h

I think you had 999 pages but each page could have 9999 sub pages. The pages were send one by one so if you typed 200 you would have to wait for page 200 to cycle by. If it had 100 sub pages you would have to wait 100 times as long. I belie

One fun trick I learn (or more like two tricks) is to start working with the person during the interview. If you do a lot of interviews you get to see a lot of different ways to do it. Their job is to do interviews but they never get to see
