I obviously havent rebooted, but visiting the website and hitting "run anyway" now causes the same hang, then the tab closes with no further notification. needless to say that plugin is being removed, to the author: check out <video>

wow, the quicktime plugin installation routine in chrome is pretty horrible, then it hung for about 10 seconds. arg! to detail: visit website, get yellow bar for missing plugin install plugin reload tab browser hung

wrt Bus Factor, for about one and a half years I used the E text editor, a textmate clone for windows backed by cygwin. The developer seems to have disappeared, I understand it was sort-of open sourced, but it lost momentum iirc, great sham

I agree with the other comments here, but The -1's that trickle in from time to time, on questions/answers from a year ago are just, well, annoying. I wont delete them, as I guess they serve as a testament of what not to do & generally

vim + git + git repo hosting service + fabric make changes locally, merge into remote environments branch, run fabric command that pushes change up to git hosting server, ssh's into remote server based on current branch then pulls changes f

headphones in, volume up, only vim open. could be in the middle of a war zone, or my office that frequently mimics such, as long as I am interested in the problem at hand I can get in the zone.
