I run ubuntu 12.04 on an i5-2500k, 16gb ddr3-1600 ram and intel ssd .. I currently have 4 windows vms running, 1 for adobe cs4, one for adobe cs6 (both windows 7) and 2 xp vms for ie7/8 ... runs just fine, quite often have an IE6 vm running

it's annoying size for me as my (and many many others) screen is 1920 pixels wide, and i often have two windows taking up half the screen, 980px means i get horizontal scrollbars popup

i had a sony p910 some years ago, that had an optional keyboard but i never used it, character recognition (as in one character at a time ocr) actually worked, I was quicker on that than i am with swype etc now, it was awesome.

I was the same, made the jump to awesome wm instead (because I heard it had better multihead support (3 screens here) although I'm sure there is little in it) and couldn't be happier

With the gmail web interface I already have all of these features, actionsteps are stars in gmail, i use yellow & red bang, and red star .. just press s to rotate, attachments have never been an issue but maybe thats just me, searching

True, the bit about developing on the server is straight up odd though (if i skimmed it correctly that is) as I find the debug mode exception screens rather helpful, and I wouldnt want debug mode running on a publicly reachable machine

I have comments in my css too, mostly things like "product grid", "product detail" etc, which only really function as things to navigate with by searching. Expecting comments in css to act as some sort of tutorial is a dead end, any website
