As far as I can see there's no need to re-encrypt the signal - just leave it as a non-HDCP stream? There are HDMI splitters which silently strip HDCP to output to two screens at once - they don't advertise this feature but they do

That was the main way. Another was some networks had a voicemail number you could dial into from abroad and then enter the phone number and pin of the voicemail box you wanted to access. Before this scandal nobody has ever changed that pin,

It looks to be launched from the 'nest' by spring/air using the sabot because it leaves so quickly. No way a jet could accelerate it that quickly on its own. That doesn't mean it's incapable of taking off on its own

Exactly this, doing it right is possible but vastly more complicated and requires tons more UI work. It's not impossible - tape drives jukeboxes with 5 minute delays aren't a new invention.
