Not too much documentation nor examples there, right? However, the two test files and the documentation website immediately made me think about Python and Nim at the first glance. I might give it a try as an embeddable language, it looks pr

I use it more for programming quick scripts and handling source code that people happen to send me over Telegram -- it even integrates well as a system editor. I'll take a look at orgzly, thanks.

Been using this for quite a while now, awesome app. Solved all my needs for a decent SSH terminal, and even for running a pocket version of Emacs.

The whole point of security and good practices is to make harder for those arbitrary codes to be executed (or for whatever other flaws to be exploited, until they're fixed). Running a browser as root is not good practice. Doesn't

Anytime I write C code, I try to keep the asterisk close to the type: void* foo(void* bar); I know that the asterisk technically belongs with the variable name when declaring it, but it helps to wrap my head around them, as a reminder that

The syntax itself reminds me a lot of Lisp (Scheme, specifically) but this is probably on purpose. I wonder if it can be used on Lisps the same way JSON is used in JS.

UEFI itself might be tricky but, actually, nothing stops you from burning those 512 bytes on a flash drive and booting from it on Legacy mode.

I second that, however most companies seem to think that opt-out is the only way to go if you want to profit.

I don't think that's the case, seems a little too extreme to think that. I believe the central point of someone not directly enrolled with programming as an actual job (or as a hobby taken seriously) picking Fortran over C/C+

This is amazing -- seems almost like a better way to play an Xbox 360 game on PC, without an emulator. Could even be what Microsoft wanted, for better retrocompatibility support. I wonder if it can also be done to other consoles? Let's

Well, it is an opt-out feature, which is already a way to purposely collect data if you're not playing attention enough. Plus, if npm has such flaw, this is still no excuse for Core to do the same.

I'm astonished at the fact that this is made in Electron but no Linux version is planned whatsoever. There must be a serious blocking reason for that.

Unfortunately, it doesn't really remove the shadiness of the issue. Too bad.

Well, It's pretty much a commenting platform like Disqus, but with user privacy in mind, which seems a little strange to me, since it was conceived with (stopping) trolls and harrassment in mind. Point is, isn't identifying such i

We should all be encouraged to be polymaths since school. But I believe the great challenge is not really to push such idea to students, but to actually make them find interest on what they're expected to learn, be it to become polymat

Last time I checked, hackers used to follow the "lulz" principle. However some follow the money principle, which can be stolen from anyone.

More than that, if they're willing to deliver a port of Xamarin/MonoDevelop to Mac and call it VS, it's at least funny that they won't do that for Linux. There is no actual need for that, but since they're refactori
