Seconded. Build quality on the 9360 isn't great, trackpad and keyboard leave much to be desired for a high-end laptop. CPU seems to be throttled to deal with overheating, so performance just feels lacking. Coil whine, stability and WiF

Project Euler was so much fun when I discovered it, it also helped prepare me for an unexpected interview which included similar challenges and they seemed a breeze in comparison. Had I not been challenging myself, no way would I have passe

Incidentally, I've been using the 5-minute USCRN dataset provided online [1] for load testing, and one of the stations is Barrow (lat/lon: 71.32,-156.61). Data starts in 2006. Out of curiosity I just did some basic SQL queries on

There is sub-hourly (5 min) data for a station near Barrow here, since 2006: https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/crn/qcdatasets.html

I'm in Serbia and deliverymen always call. There are multiple private courier services, having gotten to know a lot of the drivers they'll sometimes bring me the package to a different location if I'm not home but reasonably

Seconded. I hang out with my nuclear family most of the time. It's awesome. Hard work and lot's of responsibility, but rewarding. To be honest, a career seems so much less significant since I've had children. The article read

My 5 y/o has found all of these videos, I guess they're linked by recommendation. And even weirder ones in the past month. One positive might be that I haven't noticed violent or sexual content aimed at children, it's ju

What an absurd interpretation. If anything the guy appears to be very quiet and shy. Having said nothing sexist at all up till now, in the memo or otherwise, insinuating that this guy picked a fight and had some sort of outburst in front of

I've worked in offices, now working from home. A few hours a day is enough to be considered exceptionally productive in terms of coding for me, this leaves a lot of time for other productivity, family, work around the house. In an offi

Just to mirror your point, my desktop and main work computer has an i5 750 (2009). There hasn't been a single reason for me to replace it, unless it dies. It's an excellent processor and does everything I need it to do. I also hav

That's a shame. I prefer the current Unity (16.10) interface to the other available options. It's simple, clean and intuitive IMO. Haven't looked at Gnome since the disaster that was 3, having previously used it exclusively.

Interesting read. There really is a lot of thought that goes into these things. Bought a set of silicone/rubber wipers the other day. They were covered in a very fine gray dust which at first seemed to be like spray paint. So without t

Mainstream media and their corporate backers have already lost this battle. This whole fake news attempt to remain relevant has backfired already, since it's much easier to prove that the peddlers of fake news are those who uncriticall

There is definitely a drift towards staying up later and later, and of course kids and/or work are not forgiving of that trend, so the sleep deprivation starts to accumulate again. I guess just listening to what your body is telling yo

I used to like to sleep for as long as possible, then slowly it began to feel like a waste of time. Also, having small children affect sleep although not directly, it's the time you try to claw back after putting them to sleep, pushing

I just bought a new Dell XPS 13, which is now cheaper in the UK than the US (I can't recall that ever being the case in the past). It's a great time to buy in the UK, sure the prices may creep up to compensate over time, not sure

Why attack the investigative journalist? The information is in video form. Ignore his interpretation if you feel the journalist isn't any good, that doesn't invalidate the evidence.

Are you really suggesting that people shouldn't watch videos that they might not agree with, or which might contain propaganda? If that was the criteria for consuming information, no one should ever watch/read any media outlet. Al

To be frank, this sounds ridiculous to me. Also, why is it important who is doing the journalism to uncover the fraud? Sure, I don't have to agree with their interpretation, but I can plainly see and hear what was said. Organization of

You mean, if I believe my own eyes and ears rather than someone insulting me on the internet? You're funny. If someone can't be bothered to obtain an ID to vote, possibly they shouldn't be voting at all. Civic responsibility

As a European I don't understand how requiring an ID to vote is disenfranchising voters? It just stinks of voter fraud, and in light of the latest Project Veritas videos I can only conclude that the establishment parties and democrats
