They mention OPT-175B, but the currently only available models are Falcon-40B and Llama2 (up to 70B). Curious about the performance in human chatbot arena LLM leaderboard.

Coming from SD prompting, you quickly get used to tons of different terms to maximize the quality of your output, and not straightfoward to know which one is a signal and which is a noise. It all depends on the training data.

This topic has been reposted few times recently, yet never gained much traction. I wonder how much changes there have been between GPT2 to GPT4?

The question is, is it worth it getting into chess as an adult? What is the appeal? And what additional value does it bring compared to other "productive"/mentally stimulating hobbies?

Thanks for the reference I was searching for a benchmark that can quantify the typical user experience, as most synthetic ones are completly ineffective. At what sample size the ranking become significant? Or is it baked in the metrics (ELO

There is a need for a comparison, otherwise I find your assessment of the performance a "bit" subjective.

But aeguably, being OSS, you can integrate additional OSS that performs thebafromentiones tasks of Obserbability. Just more hacking things together, but in theory should be doable.

I'm just curious what is the difference between Mastodon and Lemmy. I know they are a decentralized clone of Twitter and Reddit, but at their core 90% similar. Is it just the comment threads?

The LLM field is still messy at large, if you look at the rankings of model performance, they still do not reflect their usability in real life. I think one major challenge is to find a corresponding benchmark.
