You could, but it would be slow, or at least pretty heavy per client. That said if you have a beefy enough server I suppose it might work.

Cool idea and opens up a lot of interesting applications. Unfortunately, the demos don't work reliably (on my machine the tracking was completely off the wall).

That's not really true. The selection of computational geometry problems on the ICPC tends to be limited because testing and implementing numerical algorithms is really difficult in a competition environment. When you do see geometry

To compute a voronoi diagram, you also need to reconstruct the boundary and topology of all the cells, which is not being done here. Also most algorithms for computing voronoi diagrams do not snap the vertices to integer lattice coordinate

This isn't actually a voronoi diagram, it is an (approximate) distance transform - though it is still pretty cool! If you are working on a grid, there are lots of ways to compute distance transforms exactly. An exact and optimal seria

Does this take into account the super ko rule? If so, seems a bit small. EDIT: Never mind, no it doesn't.

Not really. There are a few gems here and there in the text, but overall it is a slog. CLRS is a better text book for getting up to speed in algorithms. If you are going to read it though, the volume on searching and sorting is probably

Algebraically, automatic differentiation is the same as adding a nilpotent element e, such that e^2=0 to your algebra. You can continue this pattern out to get higher order derivatives. For example, if you also add an element f where f^3=

Maybe for high profile terrorism, but what about the more common petty street crime like muggings? I don't buy that is motivated by some high minded morality. Rather it seems like a rational and greedy calculation made by those with

If the rent gets too high, you can just move. If you lose your job, good luck dealing with that mortgage. The problem with buying a place is you get stuck in one location.

Something has to give. Either take off from work earlier, set boundaries for yourself around family commitments, or scale back some volunteering. You need to make space and time to be relaxed and learn stuff.

Not unless you were very certainly sure it was true. The probability that you got it right and didn't mess up some detail is so vanishingly small that it might as well be 0. If you go around shouting about yet another half-baked "
