This was a great time for this to be posted. I've been spending a lot of time with Racket, and closures are a big part of that. I believe (though maybe I'm wrong) that Racket's closures don't have the issue described in

Don't know where you got this idea. My mid-2014 MBP has a physical click, where the trackpad actually sinks when I press on it.

It would be interesting to see it integrate with GitHub. Not sure if that's a good thing, but it would definitely be interesting.

Yes, this is definitely what's happening with Amtrak in the article, and it's a damn shame.

This is just my personal experience, but as a younger-than-Millenial college student, I really enjoyed meeting strangers in the dining car. Being on a train by yourself for three days gets lonely.

I rode the California Zephyr from Chicago to Emeryville in May and I LOVED it. The dining car was a big part of it, because I really enjoyed meeting strangers and having a chat with them. The food was decent for what it was. My roomette was

I'm totally spitballing, but reduced contrast can be a little less harsh than pure black on white, which might be a motivation. Other than that, perhaps it is meant to mimic the experience of reading a book by a warm light.

When you purchase a song from iTunes, it is DRM-free. When you download it through Apple Music, it is not.

You mis-quoted your source, which says September 12, 2018, which in my mind does count as the tail end of 2018.

There are iOS and android apps. I can't speak for the android apps, but I use an open-source client on iOS. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pass-password-store/id120582...

The whole article is a little hyperbolic, but the distinction is important. To "lie" is to position one's own self, while to "lay" is to position some grammatical object. Confusingly, "I will lay myself down&qu

I'm confused what you mean. As a native speaker, these are definitely rules. As your parent comment says (missing the sarcasm of the article), these examples sound (and are) wrong.

I wonder how this will affect Apple's product lines over the next decade. It seems like Ive had huge influence on most of their products. Who will take his place?
