Sorry for the ambiguity, I only meant that you manage installing games (and sometimes even drivers) yourself, as opposed to having a fully managed service where everything "just works" like Stadia. You're right that you don&#

Take a look at Shadow https://shadow.tech/ . It's different in that you manage your own gaming PC, but in some of ways that is preferable. With the Steam stream-to-device functionality you can effectively use it on devi

This is an interesting architecture, can you provide some more details on how exactly that works? E.g. do you use a c++ library that interprets scheme?

Have a read of Blindsight by Peter Watts, it has an interesting take on this very idea. An alien species with advanced intelligence but not consciousness takes our attempts to communicate with it as an attack, intended to cause it to waste

I highly recommend reading chapter 9 (number theory) just for the sheer fun of it. Number theory is one of the oldest and yet probably the most surprising branches of mathematics.

The rate of non-marital births steadily increased for Blacks and Whites from 1950-1995 (although Blacks did start from a higher baseline). From 1995 until now it has mostly levelled off. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/

Really cool! The accompanying article notes that the portraits are an attempt to visualize the person at the time of their death, which makes you realize how many of these emperors died very young.

Also, down the road you might consider making a non-profit to manage improvements and updates to the clauses. You could even apply to YC with said non-profit. I'm sure they'd be interested.

Huge props for this effort, I'm very excited to use this system. I'd advise you to think about the audience for this work. To my eye, that audience is the small and medium sized business leader, especially those with a technology

How did they test a control room like this, with so many inputs and outputs? It seems like there would be many opportunities to botch a contact or two.

I loved the concept in permutation city of simulating your own mind out of order, but I think it would only be possible if we can show that consciousness is a pure function. If consciousness isn't pure and therefore depends on some int

Good TL;DR, but it's absolutely worth reading the whole piece because it is very beautifully written. At the top you will delight in what you have accomplished as much as become aware of peaks far higher than what you had ever dreamed

Good point. I'll add a doubling period for deaths and confirmed cases so you can compare. Do you know of any good data sources for getting the number of negative test results in a locale?

This is a cool idea! If it supported both MathJax and rendering SVGs from code it would be a strong contender for writing interactive explanations (like https://explorabl.es/ ).

The most important thing I've learned is that you need to find a balance between discipline and spontaneity. For example, it's good to maintain a few "anchor points" each day to break up your time and help you break out

You might as well ask "does music have meaning?" Poetry is many things, but at the root it's about the beauty of words themselves, their sound and shape and feeling and even taste.
