hahaha, oh wow. I have been completely incorrect on my interpretation of Amazon's Choice. Historically when I searched for something, I've often find a product in the results with 80-90% of the features I'm looking for. That

Oh cool, thanks for the link! I should have thought to look at SO, as I generally read those survey results, but it didn't occur to me to look for this question there. 28% is a bit higher than I would have guessed even to that answer.

The whiteboard threads are always interesting to me because with more than ten years experience in software development in enterprise and startups now, I've never had to do a whiteboard interview. Are they common outside the big six na

I returned to ebay after years of absence when I wanted a replacement wallet just like one I had 10 years ago. I found it for cheap, it shipped, it was brand new in its packaging. I couldn't have been happier. Since then I've real

Have there been any accidents? In general I think delivery drivers in cars, on bikes, and other modes of transport tend to be less safe due to the real or perceived need to speed.

If I recall correctly, this comes up a lot with null.com too with respect to emails, etc. I think there was even an HN post about all the null@null.com emails collected by someone.

I hope that it is, because before reaching this comment thread I even thought "I hope it is to fund Blue Origin" We wasted 50 years not going after space like we should have been. Let's get at it.

Although exposure and feedback are great, I think that exposure via a $1000/$1500 exhibit is a very expensive way to validate parts of your SaaS product at your stage. It isn't that it won't generate leads, it is just a price

That's how I felt watching the presentation. It very quickly became apparent this was not a machine for me. I don't work with multiple 4K video streams let alone any instrument mixing or 8K video.

I feel we may have crossed the Rubicon on this. 2G rings in my ears like "dial-up" Not saying the web needs everyone rocking gigabit (at least not yet), but I don't know that there is hope for 2G. I was working with a 3G devi

You can use the + trick and . trick with Gmail addresses too. I think Outlook as well supports the + trick. The only downside to this is that there are plenty of sites that don't accept a + either knowingly or unknowingly.
