Automatically triggering an apk download is just that... a download. An install (from opening said apk) triggers a fullscreen dialog of what you are installing, it's access, and whether you are sure...? It isn't dangerous at all,

So are you arguing vanilla js is the better option? Or that the web is a flawed platform and should be avoided?

The web, services more than 3 devices. There is added complexity when you do that. If you love cocoa so much you should checkout: http://www.cappuccino-project.org/

being knocked out is related to the brain hitting the walls of the skull, it has very little to do with what caused that. Slap, Fist, head-butt, concrete, car crash etc. But I was responding to the claim slapping is equivalent to punching.

A slap is no where near as hard. Surface area of an open hand vs surface area of 2-3 knuckles. Think hammer vs fly-swat.

Because you need the government to decide what is safe for you or not? I've never understood safety standards for consumer goods. If you want to drive around in a horrible death trap of a car... why should the government stop you? (Adm

Not sure companies (Apple/Microsoft) are willing to sue a Chinese company as quickly as a Korean one. Given how the Chinese government could intervene (i.e shut them out of china).

A tiny fraction sure. But google make a lot more. So your real issue is with the YouTube API for not supplying ads with content?

So you have no problem with the actions... just the rhetoric? That's an interesting position I've encountered the opposite before, but not this. Does the rhetoric really matter?

I was under the impression this was done because the english translation loses some meaning or context. The idea that every concept can be translated is probably a false one. Ideas are built on cultures, cultures are described by language

That's right, people should limit what culture they produce in order to make sure WWLink isn't upset. Alternatively, people can do what they like, and if linkable URLs are superior then things will trend that way anyway.
