Funny, as I'm starting to use it more and more. If I want windsurfing, snowboarding or skateboarding tips the quality can be excellent. There are some great SEO channels and stuff for CSS Grid. Even with my son, we can get short lectur

My take was the article left the reading feeling most startups are raising large amounts of capital. When actually, most probaly are not. But this is almost impossible to measure as who can survey everyone with a side project.

This is a difficult argument to counter, the term Startup doesn't have a definitive definition that I'm aware of. So we could be arguing semantics. But fair enough, exclude the coffee shops, restaurants if you like. But you'r

AFAIK a container ship has about 30 crew. Most of which are maintenance and engineers. You would need those people anyway. Most shipping companies use cheap labour now. I imagine the largest cost after the ships themselves is fuel.

$1 million invested in property giving a rental income of around $4000 pcm. Alternatively, a boostrapped SaaS with $4000 MRR (Monthly recurring revenue.) The latter is easier to achieve.

The one that springs to mind for me is https://chain.com/ They manage balances. Sounds easy, just a database column? The problem with storing balances is securing it against unauthorised users. i.e. Hacker, DB admin. A bloc

You nailed it for me there. I'm in the closed period I guess. I've had a lot of 1 on 1 in my second language but quit. I was fed up of getting corrected all the time. Makes conversation a bit dull when the teacher interrupts. Migh

That would be an awesome attack. Supply journalists with harmless USB devices. Then pass around a fully weaponised PDF. For the those that think malware in PDF's are history, here's a link to 2 zero days found just this march. ht

You're thinking of swift from a banking customer perspective. The banks don't pay high fees to Swift, they just charge you high fees. But, if you can avoid that with crypto then good on you.
