The HW has proprietary power management features that Windows cannot take advantage of. For the end user it's probably no big deal, but I think the commenter you replied to is right - power management is a delicate dance between hardwa

Wow, it's almost as if capping the fees they can charge provides an incentive for the banks to aggressively pursue anti-fraud technologies that benefit everyone. Naw, never mind this is the USA. Free market is all that matters.

I have to imagine there's a giant pile of (criminal) laws they could use to prosecute someone who's trying to defraud the government. But your point is still well-taken, and it's kind of academic anyway - it's an incredi

This is flatly incorrect. This is a civil proceeding, neither you nor your property are charged with a crime. Instead, a civil (not criminal) forfeiture proceeding is initiated against your property. I'm not just being pedantic, this

Yeah I was laughing at the "it's never a perfect time to transition" and was thinking, well, when everyone hates you and wants you to leave is probably pretty close to a perfect time to leave.

The argument is that making decisions based on race is racism. Github isn't "monitoring" things, they're actively trying to change them, and using race (and other such factors that some people believe we should try to be
