One of the difficulties with these models would be backtesting investment strategies. You always need to make sure that you are only using data that would have been available at the time to avoid look-ahead bias.

I think the key point is that if you put a TODO comment in the code, it should be resolved before merging. If it's important enough to leave in there, it should be an issue. I only use them as something to grep for and so that I don&#x

The annoying thing is that 95% of the time it’s not at all what I want, but 5% of the time it’s pretty good. But if I had the option to expand it or something, I’d probably never do that and miss out on the 5% of the time that it’s good.
