I'm not some Arrington fan, and I try to stay away from Beta's posts; but, if you watched the TCDisrupt coverage, Arrington was trying to invest in just about everything.

Somehow, I missed the original HN post, but I like the service as it serves a vastly ignored market (I've also been a fan of Causes since they started). As far as pricing is concerned, it sounds like it might be best represented on a graph

I got curious as well, and your post helped. Just to point more clearly to the source, the cited reference comes from: Title: "Judgment Days: Lyndon Baines Johnson, Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Laws that Changed America" Author: Kotz, N

Interesting. I was a barely competent sysadmin that couldn't contain my interest in learning how to develop software. So, over the last 6 months I messed around with Vim and Emacs/ Git, Hg, and Bazaar/ and Erlang, Ruby, Lua and Python. I se

The problem I have found is that many supposedly-good sales people seem to set customer expectations too high. After the fact, there is a lot of effort expended on easing customer concerns. I'm not a good salesperson either, as I will easil

My understanding, as an outside observer, is that DDG is more about building a community (similar to HN, but probably more like metafilter). I get this idea from their offering of an XMPP service and site-specific syntax, so I may be off, b

If you are concerned about such logging issues, you could use Level 3's servers. They operate 6 DNS servers at 4.2.2.1 through 4.2.2.6. I've heard people claim L3 discourages this, but from my use, that doesn't appear to be the case.
