That's true, it's more without the favicon. It is configurable with browser.tabs.tabMinWidth. Not sure if it is configurable elsewhere in the UI, I normally don't bother with that.

Mozilla Firefox doesn't shrink tabs any further, but instead lets the tab list go off screen and you can scroll. I think that is a Google Chrome specific thing.

I think when testing code with an open call, it is a good idea to test what happens on different return values of open. If that is not what you intent to test for this method, then that method shouldn't contain open at all, as already

That's the order in which the processing happens, but this doesn't need to be reflected in the language. The language has this ordering so it sounds like a natural language which SQL was invented for.

That might be nice for manual experimentation, but for application use, this seems brittle compared to specifying the columns you really want to have and process.

This problem goes away, if you only ref-count owning pointers, because ownership is non-cyclical.

The very article we are discussing shows you a way how to do that type safely in C. It uses #include which is a very idiomatic way to do this in C, and an example where a preprocessor-based approach is more flexible, than e.g. a module sys

To me a larger version number doesn't signify a more mature codebase, it signifies less mature developer and developer culture, that doesn't care about backward compatibility and semantic versions.
