I prefer to have great ideas in rust ported over to C instead of rewriting everything with Rust. this approach will benefit all the existing softwares written in C which I think is much larger than Rust in terms of both impact and code size

mortality depends on the country in which the patient is treated in my view. according to WHO's situation report, Singapore has 91 confirmed cases and 0 death so far. in most developed country, mortality rate seems to be on much lower

What influential applications are written in rust? For c++, there is llvm, chrome, game engines, I feel like c++ is standing very strong in any of these fields still, why is that? Do u think it’s going to change soon?

100% agreed. Html and css are for documents not for ui imo. Quite sad that they are becoming the standard for creating ui

freedom to express one's opinion is different from spreading disinformation (e.g. incorrect election dates) to manipulate public, and the latter should be minimized somehow someway. i would like to know if you disagree and why.

Isn’t this article a fiction itself? in a sense that it is not proven to be true or impossible to prove? It’s interesting because it looks like people are buying this story thus proving his point, fiction (this article) beats truth.
