A good proxy is knowing which tools to use to solve the problem. Not how to try and emulate how a human would play chess. That is pointless...

I'm not going to respond to everything but the key to my comment was "This applies to other domains as well." But people are limiting their imagination to the chess engine example given for chess. The tool or program (or even

It is a program. I need it to get task X done and I don't care how, whether it is strictly through CoT or with tools. There is no such thing as cheating in real work and no reason to handicap it. Just test the limits of what it can do

Funny, you used probably the most useless form of benchmarking used on people as an example of measuring "competency" in the real world.

If AI can program, why does it matter if it can play Chess using CoT when it can program a Chess Engine instead? This applies to other domains as well.

You can't be serious, do investors have smooth brain? GTAVI is about to be released (will probably break all kinds of records) and they think Project Genie a prototype of an experimental idea has any impact on the games industry?

I mean, I don't like CCP tech or public executions of disarmed citizens but saying only 5% is a bit nuts.

I mean common sense reasoning tells me that if OpenAI has decided to turn into an ad business, the actual return expected from investing into compute isn't going to be nearly as great as advertised.

LLMs are always going to output the median answer you would find on the web. That's why they are almost always mediocre in their response.

PLTR stock peaked at $200 last year and has been going back up so far this year. People are investing in CCP style tech and don't care.

Just shut the whole thing down. No point playing fair with people who talk about "suicidal empathy". Time for people on the left to take the red pill and start getting things done fast.

This is basically Trump's 'shithole' list. If you even look like you are from one of these places (basically anything other than white) you are probably a potential ICE target.
