1) wrong to assume that you'll be interviewing with the same person for 3 hours 2) if they're doing something not related to your interview during your interview, you don't want to work with them anyway

Yeah, having public github repos is great, but it doesn't scale when the company has a bunch of candidates waiting AND the interviewers have some other work to get done. Also, don't forget that communication is a part of the job t

I noticed that when at work, I usually end up doing one of the following three things: 1. Explain things - either to my co-workers or to the computer. 2. Explore - navigate the codebase figuring out how different pieces connect to eac

I think it depends on context, I like using auto when the type is clear from the surrounding 5-7 lines of code or if it's for some nested-container-iterator stuff. The rule of thumb is, if the context doesn't provide enough inform

I'm going to guess you didn't understand my point. Being able to create drm-free copies weakens the power content producers hope to achieve. If I can create a drm-free copy of a movie, I can stream it to any device I want, at no e

I can still make "unauthorized" copies of DRM'ed media and play those back on non-drm devices. E.g. record sound from a locked-down music player using a microphone, convert that to MP3 and listen to it using a normal MP3 play

Last I checked Unity was a closed-source proprietary engine that I had to pay money for. I'd say they should start worrying about Unity when something like Unreal Tournament 2004 (a decade old game btw) comes out built with Unity.
