Reminds me of South Korea too. The tables have turned and they're still struggling to get vaccines. The earliest they'll have a domestic vaccine en-masse will be in 2022. Meanwhile, the US is flush with vaccines.

What eventually will happen is that someone will get fed up and build an open-source alternative on Github. Rinse, repeat.

Although I love Postman and I want to see it succeed, I'm a little stumped when it comes to how this company can scale given its niche.

When is it expected for China to show up? At the Paris Climate Agreement, China stated that it will ratify 20.09% of greenhouse gases. It's sort of hard to tell where progress is when you don't have a good baseline. That goes for

Accessing resources requires a mature system of governance similar to Maslow's triangle. I don't think Afghanistan is at the step (yet) where it can import scientists, hire heavy duty machine operators, logistics, and labs to expl

You can probably buy a laptop with a certain generic form-factor with a rugged case that snaps onto the body. Panasonic, unfortunately, can't get economies of scale like LG, Lenovo, Apple.

FreeBSD is like a slow moving turtle. It gets things done slowly but surely! It'll let the world fly by but only adopt things that seems to make the most sense. I guess this is a nod to KMSAN and its usefulness.

Disinformation aside, let's just consider for a second that people may be simply consuming information that they want to hear, rather than taking in information that the media thinks or wants them to hear.

Thanks for that clarification, nuclear fusion looked more like lasers and large proof-of-concept demonstrations in national laboratories the last time I checked. Sensors and batteries may have MUCH more contracted timelines.
