UPDATE: I got in contact with Anurag Goel, the CEO at Render and he was very apologetic and restored my account and explained why it was caught up in some anti-fraud processes. I'll be giving them another shot.

Apple's division in charge for these services is notoriously dysfunctional, multiple Apple employees have warned against joining it on Blind. Dysfunctional orgs produce dysfunctional outputs.

Microservices are essential at any large company. Can you imagine if Facebook was still a PHP monolith? They'd need 5,000,000 instances to run the app.

I just disabled uBlock and browsed Twitter and saw federal government, HP and Apple ads and more. Lowest of the lowest seems like an exaggeration here. Even with a 50% drop in advertiser revenue, Twitter's vastly reduced OpEx should ma

All the "THIS time Twitter is in trouble!" posters are nowhere to be found. The Google+ of Twitter clones predictably is already floundering. Network effects are a hell of a thing, not that Threads was even a good product. The alg

The entire premise of your comment is false, since energy retailer margins are sub 5%. Considering the UK government has directly been engaged in numerous schemes which have dramatically increased the wholesale price of energy, a 5% cost sa

I agree, but the number was ~13,000 in the 1970s. It's now in the millions. So homeschooling has increased over 100x, while the number of students in any education in the US has grown by around 10-20%.

People with money homeschool, with much better results. There's even small homeschooling groups that pool resources to hire the best tutors money can buy. Homeschooling is exploding exponentially, doubling from 2012 to 2023 and a large

Microsoft regularly has cross-tenant security exploits (the worst security exploit imaginable, indicating sloppy engineering). So really you're weighing up security disaster versus terrible UX. I'd rather protect users.
