Am I missing something? My desktop computer doesn't have a "home screen" and I don't see anything like this option in Chrome or Firefox.

In aviation in particular, "drone" used to connotative an armed military UAV. At some point the term morphed, and now it does indeed seem to be entirely synonymous with the literal definition of "UAV".

Maybe they don't need to be though. One of my greatest regrets is that I couldn't afford to purchase Photoshop and Illustrator back when that was still an option. The Adobe CS6 suite is software that is "done" as far as

I've been completely satisfied with every Brother printer I've purchased (which is ~2 because they last forever).

I did the same years ago. I've done everything from new job paperwork to buying a house to various government forms and I've yet to have anyone refuse to accept or even comment on the fact that my signature is a pixel-perfect copy

I find this rather amusing, because the much maligned Adobe Reader handles this just fine.

I feel the same way, except I'm in the US so it's not a strictly regional thing. I expect it's just that you're far more likely to hear from extreme outliers in topics like this. I will say that "definitely not coun

Stories like this remind me that maybe my low-six-figure salary in the bay area isn't that bad after all. I may be dramatically underpaid by FANNG standards, but I'm never asked to work overtime and I'm free to take PTO whene

Typically the cooking surfaces in a commercial kitchen are installed under an absolutely enormousness hood that sucks a lot of air. That is sufficient to greatly contain smoke. Not sure what smells have to do with anything.

I can state from experience that you're mistaken in what you think people expect. I work in a field very closely aligned with electric aircraft, and people who say "electric planes" without further qualification virtually alw

There are additional factors that are application dependent. I'm not sure how much if affects road vehicles, but for aircraft that fact that fuel burns off, making the aircraft lighter as the tanks empty is a huge contributor to total

A 3x increase in density does approximately nothing to make electric airliners more viable. We need more like a 100x increase before we see an electric 737 or A320.

The thinner the phone, the thicker the case I can put on it with the same total thickness. It's incredibly rare to see a case-less phone in the wild these days.

"significantly" sells it short. Electric airliners need a couple orders of magnitude of improvement to even come close to viability.

Positive reviews are noise for me on any product. For products I don't care enough about to do independent research, I evaluate them exclusively by reading 1 and 2 star reviews, ignoring the additional noise of "the product didn&#

We've been printing money hand over fist since 2008. Inflation has been been normal. Classical economics no longer correctly models reality.

If you're the American Federal government, you don't need to trim military spending. You can just print more money. We've been doing it for quite a while now with hardly any ill effect.
