Interesting. In hindsight, the retail store distribution model of software lasted far longer (and still does) than it ever should have.

Whoa, I'm not sure why almost 50% interest added to the cost didn't ring alarms earlier, you are right. So the corrected 60/120/180: $23k, $25.5k, $28k. And true, it will be worth something after 10 years or so, figure $

I have this one static page that uses their API to list all pipelines across all projects. Like 50 API calls at once. It's usually terribly slow (1-2 mins to finish, sometimes more). Today it's the fastest it's ever been. <

We don't ask anything hard. For JS candidates, given [1, 2, 3, 'a'] return an array without the letter. Debug an AJAX call (the URI protocol has an obvious typo). For react candidates, implement an event handler for a button

I much prefer coderpad or HackerRank, live with the interviewers, over whiteboarding. I find talking through a first approach, improvements, debugging, etc. is very useful -- both as an interviewer and candidate. The timed HackerRank and su

Well hopefully there will be such an influx of fakes everywhere that people will at least begin to accept that anything can be faked, and hopefully take the next step of thinking a little more critically about what they hear next.
