I've had the pleasure to work with an immensely talented developer who would spam unnecessary patterns all over the codebase, to the point where it required several coffees just to go through a single branch of domain logic. Even the I

For good and for bad, let's not forget it won't support (at least a big portion of) existing npm modules.

Absolutely agree. I've been writing Typescript for years for work, but I constantly try and explore other languages. The only language I'm never 100% sure how to handle in terms of importing both local and third party code is Pyth

Curious why is this trending? Btw sse are pretty great, only thing I don't get is why they don't allow for binary payloads. That'd have been the icing on the cake.

DDD is something not a lot of devs know about, but then every single microservices concept/pattern/architecture is basically some sort of applied DDD. Do I like the philosophy? Yes and no. Yea because it's been a great source

Yeah, the whole thing was totally uncalled for IMHO. I couldn't care less about HMR speed atm, when there are far worse plagues infesting the ecosystem.

Because, if we're talking about css-in-js, then they'd need an external dependency anyway to handle hover/etc.. states. TailwindCSS lets you inline that.

Front-end is where a lot of the cool kids are at today IMHO. It's a side of the stack where juniors can bring little to no value, compared to other specialization fields, but also the where I've seen GOOD devs pull real magic out

I don't think application developers are the main target for their product. OTOH, if AWS/GCP/ETC. adopted Bun transparently to run your cloud functions faster and using less resources (thus less $$) that would be a win/
