No, that's what I was thinking. Guess I don't understand it like I thought. There's an overwhelming plethora of misleading articles on this and so many things. More specifically, I was thinking of the recent experiment in Chi

Do we really think they'll be using radio communication? We're already dabbling with quantum comm ourselves. And if they can travel the stars, they'd have been incentivized to develop something better long ago. One would thin

When applied to bits of trivia with concrete answers, I can see this as true because the most confident voices that persuade the others are probably more or less in agreement and actually correct.

This has been my thought. There will probably be markets for businesses with "human staff". It's along the same lines as getting business for being environmentally friendly.

Hahaha. That's the funniest thing I've read all day. "Aaah, I put my car keys on the heap and didn't keep a pointer!"

Do you suppose "speaking out against the bad guys" excuses one from all other considerations?

Sounds like you're saying one particular group should control the concept of free speech at the expense of another group or groups.

They're slapping flat elements onto a UI with a conventional layout. Of course usability will suffer. Flat signifiers rely on positional context and a well-defined set of familiar views/layouts.

You greatly overestimate the difficulty. The knowledge to write programs for various platforms is commonplace now. There is too much incentive and too many learning resources at our fingertips for it not to be. You'll have to move into

I believe "tinfoil hat" implies illogic as well. Reasonable trade-offs aren't illogical. Also, it's been proven that it's entirely inside the realm of possibility that state agents are infiltrating our systems and g

I wouldn't call it "tinfoil hat" because the cost/benefit is extremely low. Negligible effort in exchange for piece of mind. It's a reasonable trade-off. You can never be sure what all your software is doing unless

This seems like a witch hunt. Perhaps the data does confirm a statistical pay gap, but the reasons are open to interpretation; and it's simply difficult to defend against the rallying cry of "omg discrimination", so they resi
