The project maintainer may not want to keep PRs open that are not acceptable as is. There is zero functional difference between holding the PR open indefinitely (and many times follow-up just never happens) and closing the PR until changes

Yeah reading the specs, it's s larger screen than my Nexus 7 tablet, with a smaller overall device size, and fits in my pocket.. it's tempting. But definitely pausing at a $1800 price tag

This is really it. You can have everything in a monolith and scalable and modular by following good architectural practices. If the need arises, you could move into SOA, and break out a couple of your larger domain modules. Continue followi

This is a surprising testimonial. My wife switched from a Pixel to iPhone and has utterly hated Siri and voice assist on iOS to the point she'd rather just deal with her hand pain. And it's a lot of pain. I've listened to see

How do you propose you provide the number of services Google has without lots of code? For context, the entirety of the Google suite is in there, and a lot more. I'm even somewhat surprised it's that little with their scale.

This is an interesting feedback loop. HN user posts GitHub PR comment which gets picked up by someone at the Register who writes an article which a HN user then posts.

Rust is designed to remove the entire class of memory safety bugs, yet this comment seems to be a collection of hand wavey disregard for the stark differences in language design.
