I guess, but as a kid, I practically lived in the thick woods around our house. As a boy, it was awesome to live in a place where carrying a khukuri (or small sword) wasn't so out of the ordinary, and I have fond memories of bushwhacki

Speaking of devil's club - what really sucks is scrambling in the brush down a hill (I did a lot of that in 15 years there), slipping, and grabbing a nice spiky devil's club as you reach out to catch yourself... But the nature is

Thanks for the heads up. I was more thinking about a local web-app that consumes the site and then outputs it in a nice mobile layout, without actually archiving or saving anything.

I've thought about this, too; some of my favorite sites are forums that are a pain to use on mobile (e.g. RuTracker). Seems like a fun project, so I may start planning it when I have time.

I haven't used it on Mac, but PDF Expert[1] from Readdle has been great on my iPad - I use it to both read and edit PDFs. It's fast and the UI is intuitive. 1: https://pdfexpert.com/

This is great, thank you! More precise and thorough then what I had. I'll minify it and start using it on my iPad.

This article speaks to me. For language learning and teaching, take a technology like Mumble(1) with positional audio and integrate it into a game so you hear those around you as in real-life? Or what about taking a chapter from a textbook

It's nothing yet, but I'm trying to hack on ProseMirror(1) and make an easy way to make quizzes (think EdX, or something - cloze, multiple choice, drop-down, etc) that can then be embedded in a page (e.g. export HTML, paste in Gho

Looks like a satisfying project! Also, website design is nice - plenty of negative space and contrasting font weights creates an elegant, easy to read site. When I redo my blog, I would love to shoot for something similar.

It's ironic, but I've transitioned from using Ulysses and other apps for text editing to Blink + Mosh + Tmux + Neovim (with Goyo plugin for focusing). This is on a 12.9" iPad Pro. It's a smooth setup. I like iOS, but am
