it's interesting -- i think most (non-technical) people don't really have a muscle memory go-to markdown editor. i certainly didn't. i hated obsidian at first! funny how learning to like markdown makes obsidian like 1000x bet

crazy to me that this starts with "I've written previously" yet continues the zero human attribution (that i could find?) trend in frontier model blog posts

my thing is kind of an Ollama competitor (surrogate?) too. more for prose/text planning, not so much for coding, at least the harness, but i'm sure someone could set it up to do that: github.com/0gsd/enough

have fable do the planning and explicitly tell it to farm out actual tasks to opus 4.8 and sonnet 5 depending on complexity. it works pretty well but yes the API switchover guessing game is no fun

yeah, i kind of stretched the meaning of "real" there, i guess. i just meant software that is designed to accommodate users who are not me, and whom i don't even know.

kokoro is surprisingly great at nuance but it's tough to improve that last ~2% or so. kokoro + rvc is really great too; i use that for ELEMENT47, the LLM-centric comedy podcast i do that i wish more people would listen to. (e47.net , f

yeah, i disagree. i think i am essentially ~non-technical and it is not difficult to build one-user applications at all. it's not even difficult to build "real" software!
