I have dual boated mac and linux for some time. They main thing about running linux on mac are the drivers. All the touch pad are design to use with macOS. Using mac is a also new way of using user interface with multi-touch and scroll.

Exactly! Developers publish code because they interest them. The market rate for developer are expensive. If people are too lazy to learn them self then pay the developer to do more work. Mostly open source are code that interest developer

I'm a big promoter of open source software. However, I do see a fine line between getting open source and charging. In general if something is generic enough like Kernel of an OS or MVC framework for web dev, then yes open sources it.

No cookies are 'necessary' for site functionality, unless there is a login needed. No cookies are 'necessary' to just display information, pics and videos.

but yeah. rCaptcha is horrible. And you know google is making money of you when you use it, and some times it takes 10 - 15 minutes to finish one thing. I hope the site owner are getting paid for my work, not just google.

The fact that it is .ai means that they are doing data collection. And you are the product. I already don't trust jira too much. Unless it is self-hosted and you want to be a test data collection set for them. Then it is not worth it
