Yes, I was indeed concerned by my wrongly perceived concern of whiddershins over the parent’s usage of the hyphen.

I was trying to make it clear that whiddershins was wrong to say that ‘deep seated’ is the correct usage in contrast to ‘deep-seated’ when Oxford, Cambridge and Merriam-Webster say that ‘deep-seated’ is indeed a correct usage. P.S. Inconsis

Interesting. Thanks. I had no idea that compact fluorescents let out so much UV.

Could you explain what you mean by ‘disrupt molecular energy transition’? Would be interested to know.

What pay-walled news source of the “free” press would you say is valuable to read? How would you define its value? What is positive impact? You dismiss people who see value in gold. You then lament over a lack in value creation. You must ha

Can someone explain how this might help in optimising vehicle routes as opposed to existing combinatorial algorithms made expressly for this purpose?

I didn't structure my reply very well. I didn't mention the fact that the dictionaries are resolved at compile time as a contradiction to anything.

I miss the innocent, purer times of Desktop Destroyer. Maybe less funny and more nostalgic. http://www.mystressmanagement.net/download-desktop-destroyer... Usage guide: https://youtu.be/Vq6XpdGQ-pc

The concept of reification exists only in the context of a chosen language and its universe of objects, and it doesn't extend to the language's implementation. Given the language Haskell and its universe of objects, Data.Typeable

I don't agree that this is type reification. The dictionaries are resolved at compile time. They may indeed be passed to a function at run-time, but they are not exposed to the user. They are simply a compile-time substitution of abstr

It's not the same. There is a measurable difference between solving cancer and not solving cancer. Your issue is actually not an issue at all, and it isn't worth any consideration.

You’re right regarding the meanings. They are two valid uses of the word black. Neither invokes any association to skin colour, but you choose to. Am I banned from falling upon dark times, because some people also have dark skin?

Your argument isn’t rigorous in that it assumes salaries are the same. A programmer earning 70k in London would be hard pressed to earn the equivalent in Euros in Amsterdam. Also as someone who has spent a good bit of money in bars and club

I’ve lived and worked in both NL and London for significant lengths of time. You are wrong about taxes. In the current tax year, 70k in one year in London would give you 4052 per month after tax. In NL, you would get 3668. That is no insign

To be eligible for the 30% tax ruling, the company needs to prove that it cannot find an equivalent Dutch person. It isn’t a blanket ruling for any foreign person. Even if you do get it, it only lasts for n years. If you don’t, you will fin
