Absolutely. I think it makes sense to decide what outcomes you want. I'm an activist in the sense that I want to see everyone who is inclined to participate in something due to interest or talent do so, not necessarily now, but 20, 30

Historically (and I suspect your stance is to mostly ignore history and try to make good decisions going forward) people have done a great job of hiring people that resemble themselves. Social in-group is a powerful thing to fight against.

I have crashed an experimental heavy lift multirotor (80kg payload on board) due to VRS. Was maybe 30 feet off the deck, no time or altitude to recover. That was a fun one to explain.

Vortex ring state is an extremely real danger with these craft, the computer is what stands between the occupant and a fiery death. Hence the concierge treatment. There's no manual mode per se with something like a quadrotor, even a si

Autorotation depends on rotor inertia and rotor pitch control. These companies don't do pitch control because if they could, they'd build a helicopter or an Osprey analog, and fixed pitch rotors must be low inertia to slew thrust

Consider the problem you're trying to solve first. Generally speaking, your problem would be better served by a type of aircraft (or non-aircraft approach) that already exists.

That's how the earlier Mars rovers arrived, totally valid concept. But it's expensive to get mass to the Moon, and if you think you can likely land upright with thrusters, why bother with something more complex/massive?

The aviators might say - a good landing is one you walk away from. How exactly do you define a successful landing? What if you're upright but all four legs collapsed and the spacecraft crushed your primary science payload?

Most microplastics in your environment are from tires and textiles. Blow molded PE is way down the list on what I'm worried about.

There's a cost associated with bottle return as well. Consumers also may feel weird about buying used packaging. What I have seen work quite well is bulk filling stations in hippie groceries. So far liquid dispensing is limited to non-

Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Paramount, Disney??? There's a crapton of players trying to make streaming happen, and no evidence that they're making massive margins.

And on top of all this, there are tidal forces to consider. I asked an astrophysicist relative how much a point on the Earth at its equator might rise and fall with every rotation, and he reckoned a few meters at least IIRC.

I went from consuming nearly no sugar to consuming really quite a lot when I started cycling seriously. Compromise I'm at now is to do sugars for the purposes of energy for workouts, high quality calories everywhere else.
