Wow I would have never thought that dowsing was still used and that it would be such a heated argument here on HN. It seems that many people are really into it. Can anyone post actual evidence on the fact that it works that is not anecdotal

The syntax is simply disgusting, some examples look worse with pipes than without them. I understand it is stage 2 now but can we do something about it? I'm seeing that most comments here and in other places are critical, why should we

Would it be fair game if Elon's name was removed? If it simply was "Tail #N628TS tracker", could Elon complain about it? It seems that all flight data of a tail number is public, but the owner of said plane is private informa

My point is not about doing anything special with their customer's data, it is that if they didn't do anything beyond the basic processing needed for their services to work it would be straightforward to migrate their offerings to

I'm sorry but I don't trust the legal system to be so ideal as you do. From my point of view money first, and power and influence second, can bend anything to the favor of those who have them in our current society.

Apple has more money, power and influence than Coinbase by orders of magnitude. If Coinbase doesn't have a really strong case (like it would be in this case) going to court would be a disaster.

The only thing worse than vertical fridges are those supermarket fridges that are both vertical and doorless. Those should be banned and IIRC in some countries supermarkets must have fridges with doors (I think France is one of those).

It depends on where you live, at least in Europe most people would find the word inappropriate. For us here "disobedience" or something alike would be a better term.

I don't think so, it sounds quite the opposite. Vocal fry is low register, sounds educated and is somewhat sexier while "cursive speech" is squeaky, childish and sounds really stupid.

The general dialect is simply a correct form of Italian, following all the rules and without adding anything from your dialect. It is the Italian language you learn at school.

I guess it sounds even weirder to us native speakers since we are much more used to hearing normal Italian. I think it is easier for you because all that stretching gives you the time to focus more on the single words, also Italian speech i
