I'm not sure what this comment is supposed to say. The article submitted here is pretty weak, but the operational issues about the subject were quite real and genuine problems in the "field". That has largeley been solved wit

Agree, but the current version omits all numerical point data and the repeating #comments 30 times uses alot of pixel space. I'm wondering if there's not a hack or abstraction that might benefit the layout.

Naive theory is the worst kind. The behavioural assumptions of NC econ are naive in this dimension. Infinite rationality is easily affordable in theory. In reality, both the approximation of it is expensive, and the hack/exploitation o

They should force sales and claims to be the same person. Problem solved. Right now, its good cop/ bad cop. Insurance only works in this framework if you have a lawyer to advocate for you...otherwises its endless dark-pattern fighting.

Finally some data. Most of the big companies with "real jobs" top out around 300K. Of course its easy to create "mc-jobs" or the equivalent.

There's no empirical data, at least not in the fortune 500, that show a company with more than maybe ~500K employees. So the headline point is easily rejected at that level. If the concept is to "create an ecosystem" that has

This is a bizarre tangent. An oligarch could just enslave people through brute force or more subtle means of mental and psyhcological manipulation into working feverishly in a self-defeating system of exploitation. Is that "creating de

Useful website, but only 6.57% of YC companies have "died" according to that data. Even for a (beyond) successful fund, that number/dataset seems a bit contrived, and it should perhaps be taken with a grain of salt.

US GDP growth in real dollars is low (and trending down). It was 2.9% for Q1 2014 after the second official revision [1]. If it’s down again for Q2, we’ll be in a recession. Just a nit, but to be clear... 1Q 2014 GDP #s (revised) growth
