This in itself is enough of a reason for me to use Firefox on Android and recommend it to everyone who uses Android.
There are a lot of other great things about it, but the fact that it allows installation of extensions (and therefore allows adblocking for non-rooted devices) is huge.
- ionised 11y agoAgreed. Not sure why Firefox on Android has such a low user base but I wouldn't consider anything else at this point. I certainly would not use Chrome, despite its extensions.
- davidgerard 11y agoBecause Google actively work to make it a bad experience. Look at GMail in Firefox Android. Now look at GMail in Chrome Android.
