- rmc 11y agoIt's actually a great shibboleth.
- proveanegative 11y agoThat used to be the case but now it is not entirely so. If reputable people (e.g., high-karma HN users) continue to use either word it will eventually be "redeemed" wherever they are reputable and become acceptable to use. edit: For the record, I didn't downvote you.
