Soft Skill by John Sonmez (published by MAnning) Although written as the "Software Developer's Life Manual" the lessons taught in this book is universal to all careers. I really wish I had this manual 21 years when I started out on my career. It would have been a great guideline in stead of lessons learned the hard way.
