I've never seen more than 1 month notice in a standard contract. Everyone I know who has had more than that negotiated it for themselves.

I've never seen more than 1 month notice in a standard contract. Everyone I know who has had more than that negotiated it for themselves.
- levosmetalo 11y agoAt my current company in Germany, notice period is 3 months from the end of the quarter. That effectively means it's 3 to 6 months, depending on the day you quit. It might be on the longer side, but it's not unusual for Germany for full time professional position. On the other hand, it works both ways, so it's not that bad as it sounds at first.
