    Geography? Here? Vim won. Emacs is the phase you go through before you go back to vim or go forward to Word or Sublime Text.

        But you're naming instances where inferior technology "won" over better technology. ? Wait, are you saying Europe is the reason those inferior solutions are the world's problem? That's a big accusation.

      Here being? In europe I find vim and emacs a fairly even split (granted, most devs I interact with use neither, since java etc.etc.)
