Correction: LocalStorage is synchronous not asynchronous.

- jaredsohn 11y agoI think it acts asynchronous if you have multiple tabs for the same domain open at once. The example given was: "it spans multiple documents, and you want a sound to play in reaction to some external, asynchronous event if any of your documents are open."
