- PhantomGremlin 11y agoThere is a significant percentage of the population without banking. Traditional banks have always despised the poor. Historically this is why immigrants, union members, and other working class people formed credit unions. I don't know why the unbanked can't use those. Something has changed. A traditional credit union wouldn't kick out a member just because he became unemployed.
