I think that disabling the entertainment center's access to the internet would be the responsible thing to do. Given Toyota's recent $1.2B settlement over the unintended acceleration defect, leaving this door open to hackers could be very costly for Chrysler.
- mratzloff 11y agoHell, I'm driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee as a rental right now and I don't even want it connected to the Internet. But you've gotta have car apps, right? How else would car manufacturers be priming you to accept in-car advertising than an Internet-connected screen that you can't turn off completely?
