I put together a basic chef cookbook to configure this today: https://github.com/bitmonk/chef-appcanary CentOS / RH / Fedora support isn't in, yet, and for kitchen to pass, you have to edit .kitchen.yml to set your api key. Tomorrow or this evening I'll finish that up and show its' use in a wrapper cookbook.
