It's interesting to see some of the contemporary systems of the World Wide Web. Does anyone know of a good article exploring why the Web won and the other systems all faded away?
- dredmorbius 11y agoTim O'Reilly has written on this a few times, describing how and why ORA chose to pursue HTML/HTTP rather than other proprietary options. Open Sources contains one instance IIRC.
