Thanks for the explanation :) I know it's not easy to get in directly, but still I'd like to at least try! Unfortunately OPT is not an option for me, as I moved back to Italy to finish my classwork here and to work on the thesis from here (I now regret this, but at the time it seemed the right decision to finish both degrees in as little time as possible) and thus I don't have that option. Doing the interviews in January is more or less what I pictured would be the right time, so I was thinking of applying at the beginning of December. :) Thanks! :)
