As far as i know Apache License, Version 2.0 is considered a free software license. To quote from gnu.org "This is a free software license, compatible with version 3 of the GNU GPL."

- clacke2 11y agoNobody is questioning that ASL2, MIT, BSD, Expat etc are free software licenses. The thesis is that they are not always as good as e.g. the GPLv3 at spreading lasting user freedom.
